Marketplace-Contracted Carriers
Marketplace-contracted carriers are shipping companies whose rates are negotiated directly by the marketplace on your behalf. When you fulfil an order from a marketplace that has a contracted carrier agreement, Pixa Lab uses those rates automatically — no separate carrier account is required.Custom-Contracted Carriers (3PL)
Custom-contracted carriers are 3PL providers with whom you have a direct fulfilment agreement. Pixa Lab forwards orders to these providers and syncs tracking and stock data back to your channels automatically.Configuring a Cargo Integration
1
Open Cargo Integrations
Go to Integrations in the Pixa Lab sidebar and select Cargo.
2
Select Your Carrier
Find the carrier you want to configure and click Connect.
3
Enter Your Account Credentials
Input your carrier account number, API key, or customer code. For marketplace-contracted carriers, Pixa Lab may retrieve credentials directly from your connected marketplace — follow the on-screen instructions.
4
Set Default Preferences
Choose the carrier as a default for specific channels or order types (for example, international orders vs. domestic). You can assign different carriers to different marketplaces or product categories.
5
Test the Connection
Click Test Connection to verify that Pixa Lab can communicate with your carrier’s API. Once the test passes, the integration is active and ready to use.
6
Print Labels and Track Shipments
When you fulfil an order in Pixa Lab, the system generates a shipping label using your configured carrier. Tracking numbers are sent back to the originating marketplace or e-commerce platform automatically.
