Pixa Lab’s product sync engine keeps your catalog consistent across every connected sales channel. When you connect a new platform, Pixa Lab scans it for products that already exist in your catalog and creates the link automatically — there is no need to re-list items you are already selling. For products that cannot be matched automatically, you can create the link manually. Once a match is established, any content update you make in Pixa Lab — to the title, description, or images — can be pushed to all matched channels in a single action.

Automatic Sync Setup

Automatic matching runs whenever you connect a new sales channel or trigger a re-scan. Pixa Lab compares product identifiers (such as barcode, SKU, or name) between your Pixa Lab catalog and the platform, then activates the link for any products it recognises.
1

Connect the sales channel

Go to Settings → Integrations and click Add Channel. Select your platform, enter the required credentials, and click Connect.
2

Trigger the initial sync scan

Once the channel is connected, navigate to Products → Sync and select the channel from the list. Click Run Auto-Match.
3

Review the matching results

Pixa Lab displays a summary showing the number of products matched, unmatched, and any conflicts. Matched products move to Active status automatically.
4

Resolve unmatched products

For products that were not matched automatically, choose to Match Manually, Import from Platform, or Skip for now. See the manual matching steps below.

Manual Product Matching

Use manual matching when automatic detection cannot confirm the link — for example, when product identifiers differ between your Pixa Lab catalog and the platform.
1

Open the unmatched product

In Products → Sync, filter by status Unmatched and click the product you want to link.
2

Search for the platform listing

In the Match to Platform panel, search by product name, SKU, or barcode to find the corresponding listing on the connected channel.
3

Confirm the match

Select the correct platform listing from the search results and click Confirm Match. Pixa Lab creates the link and sets the product status to Active.
4

Choose the data source

Decide whether Pixa Lab or the platform holds the authoritative product data. Select Use Pixa Lab Data to push your catalog content to the channel, or Use Platform Data to import the platform listing into Pixa Lab.

Import Platform Products into Pixa Lab

If a product exists on a sales channel but not yet in your Pixa Lab catalog, you can bring it in directly from the sync view.
1

Go to Products → Sync

Select the channel and filter for Platform Only products — these are listings that exist on the platform but have no Pixa Lab counterpart.
2

Select products to import

Tick the products you want to import and click Import to Pixa Lab.
3

Review and save

Pixa Lab creates a product card for each imported item. Open each card to verify the imported data and add any missing fields such as attributes or full descriptions.

Check Sync Status and Read Logs

Sync Status Indicators

Each product in the Products → Sync view carries one of the following statuses:

Reading the Sync Logs

Navigate to Logs → Integration Logs and filter by channel or date range to see a detailed record of every sync event. Each log entry shows the action type (match, import, update), the result (success or failure), and a timestamp. For a full audit of which team member triggered each sync action, go to Logs → User Activity Logs.
When product data — such as a title or image — differs between your Pixa Lab catalog and a matched channel listing, Pixa Lab does not overwrite the channel automatically. You must explicitly choose to Push Pixa Lab Data from the product card’s Listings tab. This prevents unintended overwrites of channel-specific content you may have customised directly on the platform.

Remove a Match

To unlink a product from a channel without deleting the listing on that platform:
1

Open the product card

Find the product in Products and click its name to open the card.
2

Go to the Listings tab

Select the Listings tab and locate the channel whose match you want to remove.
3

Remove the link

Click the menu next to the channel and select Remove Match. Pixa Lab deactivates the sync link. The product listing remains live on the platform but is no longer managed through Pixa Lab.
